How Much Does it Costs?

Naturally that depends on the size and complexity of the website.  Our current rates at Olympic Mists Web Services are over 50% below industry rates.  As a semi retired Web Designer and IT Project manager, I find satisfaction helping small business and non profits expand their business and build a better world. My current labor rates are as follows:

• $20 per hour for general business websites.
• $15 per hour for non-profit business and organizations.
• Maintenance of websites is based on the rate schedule above with a 1/2 hour minimum.

In general, websites can be developed for between $300 and $650.  If you don't have a domain (e.g. www.MyBusiness.com) for your business, plan on spending $15 per year for a domain.  I recommend using GoDaddy.com for domain purchases. 

Hosting ,which is the storing of your website on a web server so people can access the website is also required.  I have a special contract with a local ISP (Internet Service Provider, e.g. Earthlink,  AOL, and Olypen) for $9.75 per month to host your website with no contract or long term obligation. Note: You maybe eligible for free web hosting from the company that provides your homes access to the internet.

Generally, I request payment for the website upon completion of the site as long as the development process does not extend beyond 6 weeks.
